On principle, Graham has continued to refuse to pay the fines he has been given. Back in July he was sent a Final Notice saying he had to pay or he would be arrested and jailed. As of writing this, eleven weeks later, the Final Notice notwithstanding, nothing further has happened. |

Finally a decision has been given regarding Graham’s appeal of his last conviction in the District Court. It took the judge over a year to come to his decision – and it was not in Graham’s favour. It has been decided not to appeal to a higher court. |

Both Anne and Graham have had a very long-standing appeal before the Governor to have their fines remitted. Over 21/2 years ago they were successful in having nearly half their fines remitted.
They then appealed again about the remaining fines. Finally, earlier this year they were finally informed that those fines would not be remitted. Both are unwilling and largely unable to pay the fines. Graham may be sent to prison some time after the 9th of April 2010. |

The appeal against Graham’s last conviction was held on June 1, 2009. As of 9 April, 2010, the judge has still not delivered his decision. It is not known why it is taking so long for the decision to be given. |
